Reading
Books are my other favorite form of deep focus. I'll read widely - fiction, history, technical, biography. There's no feeling quite like being fully absorbed in a good book, and I try to make time for it even when life gets busy.
Photography
Photography teaches you to slow down and actually look at things. I shoot mostly for myself - capturing moments, experimenting with light, finding composition in everyday scenes. It's a hobby with room to grow forever, which I find appealing.
Lego
There's something genuinely satisfying about Lego - the snap of a perfect fit, the way a bag of chaotic pieces becomes a deliberate structure. Whether it's a sprawling cityscape or a complex Technic build, the process is meditative and the result is something you can actually put on a shelf.
Video Games
I've been gaming since I was a kid, and it's stuck. Video games are one of the few creative mediums that put you inside the story. From sprawling RPGs to tightly-designed indie games, I appreciate good craft in the interactive form as much as anywhere else.
